Captain Mohamad Salleh is a Master Mariner, Senior Lecturer and an active advocate of maritime safety.
He had served on the Singapore National Maritime Safety at Sea Council; chaired the Workplace Safety & Health Council: Workgroup on Commercial Diving; and as co-convenor of the Singapore Standards for Shore-based Mooring and Unmooring Work Group.
He served as Director, SMA from 2015 to 2023.
Captain Salleh has actively contributed to growing the capacity of seagoing and shore-based maritime talent, helping to reinforce Singapore’s place in the maritime industry.
He currently co-chairs the Standards Development Organisation (SDO) Working Group on Crew Training for Ammonia Bunkering as well as WSH Guidelines on Personal Flotation Devices.
