Mr Ong is the Chief Information Security Officer of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore. He had previously served in the Singapore Ministry of Transport with responsibilities to oversee cyber security and critical information infrastructure policies and programmes in the transport sector.

With over two decades of security and operations management and policy formulation experiences in the public and private sectors, Mr Ong also served in the Changi Airport Group and Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.

Mr Ong holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the National University of Singapore and postgraduate award in cybersecurity and management from the University of Warwick.
