Dan is CEO of CyberOwl, a company specialising in maritime and offshore cyber risk management, helping shipping operators gain visibility and address the cyber risks to their distributed, remote assets. Before co-founding CyberOwl he was Associate Director at KPMG, where he focused on the Defence, Security and Industrial sectors, working extensively with businesses such as BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman, Atos and BP. Dan also serves as Council Member of the Digital Technology Group of the Society for Maritime Industries, Steering Committee of the ISA Global Cyber Alliance, Steering Committee Member for the Operational Technology Cyber Security Alliance and was also Chair of a Working Group at the IoT Security Foundation. He is regularly recognised as a technology leader influencing the sector, including the FT 100 Most Influential BAME Leaders in Technology in 2019.
