Crew Safety Awareness Workshop

Making its debut as part of the Singapore Safety@Sea Week, the Crew Safety Awareness Workshop is jointly by MPA, the Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA), and MPA-Industry Safety Work Groups. This workshop is open to all crew operating in Singapore waters, including harbour craft, regional ferry, and pleasure craft personnel.
Designed to strengthen safety awareness among frontline crew, the workshop features interactive, scenario-based sessions covering a range of topics, from battery fire safety and the proper maintenance, inspection, and donning of personal flotation devices, to emergency drills including jetty jump procedures and lifejacket activation protocols.
This is a hands-on learning experience that equips participants with the practical skills and confidence to respond effectively in real-world situations.
