MPA and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) are co-organising the RPP Maritime Workshop as part of the Singapore Safety@Sea Week. This workshop is open to all members of the Singapore maritime workforce, including harbour craft, pleasure craft and regional ferry personnel.
The workshop aims to increase the emergency preparedness amongst the community in Maritime Singapore and the half-day session will cover core lifesaving skills like first aid, CPR, use of AED as well as the use of fire extinguishers.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance issued by SCDF.
Seats are limited so do sign up soon. Registration is free.
As part of the workshop, participants will also have the exclusive opportunity to tour the viewing gallery at the newly built SCDF Marine Division Headquarters. This behind-the-scenes experience offers a unique glimpse into SCDF Marine's history and milestones, up-close views of SCDF's operational assets, and a chance to see the vessels berthed at the facility.
As seats are limited, we encourage you to register your interest early to secure your spot.
Important Notes:
As this event is held at SCDF Marine's facility, which is a restricted area, participants are required to provide personal particulars during registration for pre-event security clearance.
Participants will have to strictly use the transport arranged by MPA for entry and exit, and will not be able to leave the premises before the event concludes.
