Shawn Hoe is the Deputy Port Master and Assistant Director (Marine Environment and Safety Department of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

Shawn first entered the maritime industry as a deck officer onboard container vessels. With nine years of seagoing experience, Shawn obtained his Certificate of Competency (Deck 1) and returned ashore. Over the years, he worked on projects related to route optimization, marine safety, and marine environment. He now manages a team overseeing port operations and enforcement.
