Dr Akanksha Batura Pai is Executive Director of Sinoda Shipping Agency and Raks International, and Director of SeaMind Blue Ocean and Maritime Trainer. She advances digitalisation, talent development, inclusion and sustainability across the maritime sector. An IMO Goodwill Maritime Ambassador Emerita, she serves on the Singapore Shipping Association Council and holds roles with Mission to Seafarers, WISTA, FONASBA, the Nautical Institute and Singapore Logistics Association. She is a PIER71 mentor and Liaison Officer at the Consulate-General of Malta in Singapore.

Akanksha holds degrees from NUS, including a BBA (Hons), MSc in Management and CEMS MIM, a Professional Doctorate, and a postgraduate diploma from WMU, where she was Top Student. Her honours include Seatrade 20 Under 40, ShipTek Woman Achiever of the Year, Women Together Woman of the Year and recognition as #1 in the Top 100 Women in Shipping. She is a mother of two and has visited 74 countries.
