Mr Ahmad Salim began his maritime career in 2012, serving onboard bunker tankers and progressing through the ranks to Chief Officer, with a short period covering the role of Master.

After transitioning ashore, he served as a Port Captain and Marine Superintendent at a bunker company, where he gained experience in vessel operations, regulatory compliance, and marine safety management.

In January 2024, he joined Bintan Resort Ferries as Marine Superintendent and Designated Person Ashore (DPA). In his current role, he oversees the safe and efficient management of ferry operations, supports regulatory compliance, and contributes to strengthening the company's safety culture and operational excellence.
