Mr Vince Tan joined the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore on 28 March 2022 and is currently Director (Operations Transformation and Planning). He is responsible for leading and supporting MPA’s mission in the areas of crisis planning and preparedness, port security and maritime safety culture. His division also aims to establish future concepts of operations and support maritime operations transformation through multi-domain capability development.

Mr Tan has more than 20 years of experience in operations planning and crisis management. Prior to joining MPA, Mr Tan served with the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) in various capacities including Head Naval Inspectorate, Deputy Commander of the Maritime Security Command and Director (Operations) at the Singapore Maritime Crisis Centre. He also served as the Director for Case Management Task Group during his stint at the Ministry of Health.
